Congratulations to our Robotics JV and Varsity Teams for a wonderful performance at the First Lego League Robotics Event. The teams, under the leadership of Mrs. Deidre Odierna, with assistance from Mr. John Grube and parent volunteer coach Mrs. Crislie Perry, have been meeting since September in addressing multiple challenges in programing and robot building. They have grown greatly in their knowledge of coding, engineering, math, and communication, as well as in their problem solving skills as they prepared for competition.
The varsity team was recognized with a special Judges Award for their innovative use of the sophisticated Python Program for coding. We are very proud of everyone’s accomplishments and congratulate and thank the team members and their coaches for their commitment to this academically challenging endeavor.
